[22:47:46] <massimiliano> hi there
[22:47:59] <massimiliano> i have a little problem with mam
[22:49:03] <massimiliano> it seems that if i send a message while other contact is offline for a period, then that message gets lost
[22:49:24] <massimiliano> i am talking about one or two hours
[22:51:43] <massimiliano> i saw this souspiscious line "Session is being destroyed while it still has unacked stanzas"
[22:57:35] <Maranda> Messages can't be possibly lost in that case
[22:58:29] <massimiliano> what could be the cause then?
[23:02:12] <Maranda> Offline messages could be not stored only if the offline messages store is overcap but that's not the case.
[23:06:38] <massimiliano> does it mean that i can't do nothing about it?
[23:07:55] <Maranda> Also it'd be better to say what version of Metronome we're talkin' about
[23:11:04] <Maranda> No I'm just saying that you're the only one (currently) still experiencing MAM message loss on offline messages when I did already fix that issue
[23:12:27] <massimiliano> i am on yunohost
[23:12:40] <massimiliano> how do i check the version?
[23:13:36] <massimiliano> Metronome version 3.11.1
[23:14:01] <Maranda> It doesn't have that bug
[23:14:19] <massimiliano> damn
[23:15:10] <massimiliano> could it be beacouse of a config
[23:15:14] <massimiliano> ?
[23:15:34] <Maranda> Don't think so
[23:16:46] <Maranda> I'm also unable to replicate the issue on my end :/
[23:17:11] <massimiliano> is thersomething i can do to double check?
[23:17:45] <massimiliano> for example in logs or look in files if everything is ok?
[23:20:00] <massimiliano> just to be shure in muc i don't have probles at all
[23:20:22] <massimiliano> it's only in 1on1 chats
[23:29:29] <Maranda> I just tried replicating and the messages are there
[23:29:39] <Maranda> I'll try again.
[23:32:03] <massimiliano> If i try and wait 10min messages are there too. If contact is and stays offline for 1 or 2 hours then they arent
[23:39:44] <Maranda> the messages are all into the archive.
[23:40:43] <massimiliano> How do i check it on my side? Where is the archive?
[23:41:33] <Curator> are you using gajim?
[23:43:24] <massimiliano> Yes in a minute
[23:45:28] <Maranda> I just send myself some messages
[23:45:35] <Maranda> and then check back in gajim.
[23:47:49] <massimiliano> I didn't know i could send to myself
[23:48:12] <massimiliano> So i connect to myself for that?
[23:48:46] <Maranda> You just send from another account?
[23:49:10] <massimiliano> Oh yes stupid of me
[23:59:50] <Maranda> and no, not offline messages either, also queried the archive via console and it's consistent.
